Essay and Additional Information

Please tell us: "How did your Woodland Hills education (you also may discuss additional outside studies) spark your interest in art, music, or the humanities and encourage you to further your studies?” and “What are your personal goals?"
Essays will be judged on thoughtful exploration of the essay topic and grammar
To maintain impartial judging, do not include your name or personal information in your essay
Essay should be double spaced
Essay should be 700 to 1000 words

On a separate page, provide additional information about your academic achievements, honors and awards, extra curricular activities, performances or exhibits, etc. Please expand on these areas and give specific examples of your accomplishments. This discussion need not be limited to school activities and may include, for example: music groups, dance groups, community theatre, art exhibits, additional classes, church performances, leadership and volunteer activities, etc.

Please do not send any original artwork. Clearly label CD/DVD with your name and submit it in a protective case.
Visual art applicants should submit a CD containing 10-20 JPEG images of recent artwork. Performing arts applicants should submit an audio CD or a DVD containing up to 10 minutes of a performance.
